
MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich took part in a ceremony to open the House of Belarus in Benghazi, Libya, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
"The House of Belarus will be a place of attraction for economic entities and business. There they will be able to hold meetings, discuss specific contracts and conclude them. It will be a place where words can translate into deeds," Viktor Karankevich said.
The parties intend to develop cooperation in many areas, including manufacturing industry, agriculture and healthcare. An agreement was reached to deepen cooperation between the parliaments as well. The Belarusian delegation also toured with Libyan healthcare facilities. The Libyan side is very interested in cooperation, from personnel training to the supply of medicines.

In addition, the visiting party MAZ buses which have already arrived at the destination and are ready for use. "If they prove themselves well, then maybe Benghazi will see even more Belarusian vehicles run along its streets," the press service added.
