First projects in bonded area of China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone expected in 2019

MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone expects that the first projects working in the park's bonded area will appear in 2019. Head of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone administration Aleksandr Yaroshenko made the relevant statement on the air of the TV channel Belarus One on 7 July, BelTA has learned.

The bonded area is designed to greatly simplify customs procedures. The practice is borrowed from China. The industrial park administration is intent on assimilating this and other cutting-edge practices as quickly and as effectively as possible. According to Aleksandr Yaroshenko, some companies are exploring the opportunities inherent in the bonded area with assistance of the industrial park administration. The official said he hopes that the first projects will start working in the bonded area as early as this year.

“This is the first experience no one else in Belarus has had for now. We would like to use this competitive advantage as much as possible,” he added.

Aleksandr Yaroshenko added that extremely tough competition for raising investments is in the progress in the region and the entire world. The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone tries to take this circumstance into account as much as possible and offer new opportunities to investors.
