EDB: Inflation in Belarus slows for third consecutive month

MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) - Inflation in Belarus has slowed for the third consecutive month, reaching 6.9% in October 2025 (as against October 2024), after 7.1% in September (as against September 2024), the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) said in a latest review, BelTA has learned

The growth rate of prices for non-food goods slowed to 2.5% in October year-on-year, down from 2.9% in September. Similarly, inflation in the services sector decelerated to 7.6% from 7.9%. Food price inflation remained unchanged at 9.8%.

“Core inflation, which reflects persistent price pressures, slowed to 7.1% in October year-on-year (from 7.5% in September), indicating a weakening of overall inflationary pressure,” EDB analysts noted.
