MOSCOW, 29 January (BelTA) - As of 1 October 2023 external debt of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) decreased by $119.7 billion, or 18%, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
“Compared to the same date in 2022, the gross external debt decreased by 11.7% in Belarus and by 26.8% in Russia,” the EEC said.
At the same time, the external debt increased in Armenia by 9.5%, Kazakhstan - by 0.8% and Kyrgyzstan - by 8.2%.
