MOSCOW, 26 December (BelTA) – The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) demonstrate steady economic growth, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) told BelTA.
In January-October 2025 the EAEU’s agricultural output increased by 2.9%. Manufacturing sector grew by 1.3%, with the processing industry making the largest contribution – 2.9% up. The volume of completed construction work increased by 4.5%. The volume of foreign trade between the five EAEU countries and third countries amounted to $629.7 billion.
In January-September 2025 the gross domestic product of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) increased by 1.7%, with fixed-capital investment up by 2.2%.
For the first time in ten years the average unemployment rate in the EAEU member states reached the minimal figure of 2.6%.
“These indicators confirm the effectiveness of the economic policy pursued by the integration association,” the European Economic Commission emphasized.
