MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – Directed lending for government programs and events totaled Br2.4 billion in 2020. The measure was stipulated by Resolution No.802 of the Council of Ministers of 31 December 2020, which was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.
Initially, the amount of directed lending was Br740 million. Then it was increased several times by the government.
Lending as part of the activities of government programs increased from Br375.39 million to Br528.979 million. Br496.878 million of this amount accounted for the implementation of the government program for the development of agricultural business in 2016-2020 (initially - Br304.56 million). Lending for the development of civil aviation more than doubled from its initial target - from Br30 million to Br64.9 million.
Lending to business entities within the framework of the decisions of the head of state was gradually increased from Br335.3 million to Br1.8 billion.
