MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – An agreement between the governments of Belarus and China on development cooperation has been signed in Minsk, with Belarusian Minister of Economy Yuri Chebotar representing the Belarusian government and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Zhang Wenchuan signing the document on behalf of the Chinese government, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Economy.
The agreement provides for the Chinese government to provide Belarus with technical and economic assistance to support the implementation of mutually approved projects. This includes smaller-scale initiatives, which are aimed at quick implementation and target social welfare objectives.
