MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – As of 1 November 2022 the broad money supply in Belarus amounted to Br54,386 billion, down 1.55% from 1 October, BelTA learned from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB). Broad money supply includes cash in circulation and money in bank accounts of individuals and corporations.
Cash in circulation rose by 3.6% to Br6.337 billion in October.
Transferable deposits went down by 4% to Br8.909 billion.
The money supply in national terms amounted to Br26.064 billion, down by 2.39% in October.
The volume of national currency securities issued by banks (outside bank circulation) dropped by 1.98% in October to Br1.485 billion.
The ruble money supply amounted to Br27.55 billion as of 1 November, down by 2.36% up from 1 October.
The volume of foreign currency deposits inched down by 0.56% to Br26.03 billion.
