MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuri Gorlov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov agreed on a path forward for deepening cooperation, BelTA learned from the ministry’s press service.
The parties exchanged best practices in agriculture. “In January-November 2025, the range of exported products was expanded, with 45 types of goods supplied for the first time. Belarusian food products are available in large chain stores in Tatarstan,” the press service noted. The main exports are milk and dairy products, animal feed, fish, and fish products.
The Belarusian side expressed its willingness to assist in designing livestock facilities and equipping them with necessary technological equipment, increasing the export of amino acids and wheat gluten, and exporting the full range of products from the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation. Another area of focus is training agricultural specialists at Belarusian universities and developing cooperation between agricultural universities.
