MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) - The output of BKM Holding increased by more than 40% in 2023 compared to the previous year, BelTA learned from the company.
“The company's team has implemented landmark projects to ship trolleybuses to such regions as Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sarajevo, the Russian Federation - St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Murmansk. Trolleybuses with autonomous running were put on the line in Yekaterinburg to mark the city’s anniversary, and the implementation of the project continues,” the company said.
The project to deliver electric buses to Krasnoyarsk has been completed. After successful pilot operation, the articulated electric bus was delivered to St. Petersburg. Deliveries of complete sets of MiNiN electric buses for joint production in Nizhny Novgorod have been launched, and a presentation of the model has been held.
BKM Holding also passed the milestone of 400 trams produced over the years of the company’s operation. BKM Holding sent a batch of low-floor vehicles to Barnaul, manufactured the first tram for Krasnodar. Deliveries to Samara and the fulfillment of a major contract for Nizhny Novgorod continue - the first MiNiN vehicles were put on the line in early 2023.
Development of a new model T701 has been launched to modernize trams in the regions of Russia and other countries. Design work is underway to develop a 100% low-floor three-section tram model T856 with increased passenger capacity.
An electric truck was put into pilot operation in Belarus. An agreement on joint activities was signed with a Russian company to develop a hydrogen fueled truck.
