MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) is expanding cooperation with Sichuan Province of China. This was discussed at the round table “Belarus - China (Sichuan)” hosted by the BelCCI on 17 September, BelTA has learned.
BelCCI Deputy Chairperson Yelena Malinovskaya noted that a delegation from Sichuan Province took part in the round table discussion. “This year cooperation with our Chinese colleagues has been gaining momentum very actively. Just yesterday we hosted a delegation from Changchun. In addition, on 9 October we will hold a practical cooperation forum with China in Brest. Preparations are also underway for the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. A large number of enterprises have already applied, and all exhibition space is fully booked,” she said.
According to Yelena Malinovskaya, the current meeting is another contribution to the development of cooperation with China. “Such meetings are traditional and take place very actively. Seventeen enterprises registered for today’s B2B session. We held substantive negotiations on bilateral cooperation,” she added.
Following the round table discussion, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Brest Office of the BelCCI and the Sichuan Provincial Committee for the Promotion of International Trade.
