Belarusian, Polish experts to discuss waste collection, processing in Minsk on 30 May

MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – A Belarusian-Polish seminar on organizing the collection of industrial and consumer waste, waste processing and usage will take place in Minsk on 30 May, representatives of the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

Belarusian and foreign experts, representatives of the relevant ministries of Belarus and Poland, representatives of the private sector are expected to make reports during the seminar. A national strategy on managing waste and secondary material resources will be presented as well as technologies for ensuring ecological security of the country and Polish experience in the field.

The experts will discuss possible avenues of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of investment projects. B2B talks will be held.

The seminar has been co-organized by the Embassy of Poland in Belarus and the Belekoresursy association. The Economic Cooperation Department of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Belarusian Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Ministry, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management of Poland, and the international law company Arzinger & Partners have also helped arrange the seminar.
