
MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – An assembly production for BELARUS machinery will be established in Vietnam, BelTA learned from the press service of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ).
“MTZ is interested in developing cooperation with Vietnam. Since Soviet times, BELARUS machinery has enjoyed well‑deserved respect and demand in this country. We are confident that the project will be mutually beneficial for both parties,” the company noted. The agreement provides for the assembly of BELARUS 451, 820, and 892.2 tractors. The supply of a pilot batch of tractor kits has also been agreed upon.
During the visit of To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, to Minsk Tractor Works on 12 May 2025, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin stated that tractor production will become a landmark project for Belarus and Vietnam.
