Belarusian Industry Ministry enterprises keep implementing quality-enhancing measures

MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – In January-September 2025 enterprises accountable to the Belarusian Industry Ministry implemented over 2,700 measures designed to improve the quality of their products, the Industry Ministry press service told BelTA.

The Industry Ministry underlined that the ongoing work had been organized as part of the industry-specific long-term program on improving the quality of products and as part of a comprehensive plan of measures meant to respond to critical remarks of consumers and oversight agencies regarding the quality and aftersales service of the manufactured machines, vehicles, and equipment. The documents are aimed at increasing the competitive ability of Belarusian industrial products on the domestic market and foreign ones.

As part of the efforts to implement the program enterprises belonging to the Industry Ministry system have carried out a complex of steps, including the introduction of cutting-edge quality management systems, the modernization of equipment and technological processes for the sake of improving the precision and reliability of manufactured products, the development and introduction of new kinds of products that meet modern requirements of consumers. Quality management has been stepped up at all stages of production starting with the incoming inspection of raw materials and parts and ending with the outgoing inspection of ready-made products. Apart from that, training and advanced training of workers of the enterprises have been organized in the field of quality management, modern methods of control and analysis. Industry Ministry enterprises have also taken an active part in quality excellence competitions and the expos that demonstrate accomplishments of the manufacturing sector.

“The realization of the product quality enhancement program is a key priority in the Industry Ministry’s work and will contribute to increasing the share of products that meet high quality standards in the total output, to reducing the number of claims for replacement and of rejected products, to increasing the volume of merchandise export to new markets, and to the growing satisfaction of consumers of products of Industry Ministry enterprises,” the ministry’s press service underlined.
