Belarusian government approves roads programs for 2026-2030

GRODNO, 29 December (BelTA) - The state program “Roads of Belarus” for 2026-2030 has been approved, with the corresponding resolution signed by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The state program is aimed at ensuring a transition to a new quality of roads that meet modern safety standards. It was designed for the program-targeted regulation of state policy in the road sector and to maintain public roads in a condition that ensures a comfortable standard of living throughout the country. It includes the subprograms “National Roads” and “Local Roads.”

Funding for the program is allocated in the amount of Br18.88 billion B. Its implementation will enable the repair, construction, and reconstruction of at least 25,000 km of public roads during 2026-2030 (or 140% of the expected completion for the current five-year period) and ensure a transition to a new quality of roads that meet modern safety standards.
