MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – The government has adjusted the procedure for getting the licenses for exporting and importing goods. Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin has signed the relevant resolution, the government’s press service told BelTA.
The resolution has simplified the overall procedure for authorizing the issuance of one-time licenses. Applications can now be submitted to the Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry as the agency that is authorized to grant the license. If necessary, the Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry can forward the application with a package of documents to coordinating government agencies (organizations).
The Industry Ministry has been identified as the body that coordinates the issuance of licenses for exporting ferrous metal waste and non-ferrous metal waste. The measure is supposed to regulate the volume of export of metal waste.
The implemented measures are expected to contribute to the systemization of the export and import of individual goods and the issuance of licenses.
