Belarusian exposition featured at industrial expo in Czechia

MINSK, 14 October (BelTA) – Belarusian companies showcased their products at the MSV International Engineering Fair 2019 which was held in Brno, Czechia on 7-11 October, BelTA learned from the department for marketing and public relations of the Belinterexpo exhibition company at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

The Made in Belarus exposition featured 14 companies from such industries as petrochemistry, metallurgy, and mechanical engineering. BATE company demonstrated starters, generators, and eco-friendly waterproof insulation; Belcard – drive shafts; the Belarusian steel mill BMZ – workpieces for reinforced concrete structures. Borisov Aggregates Plant showcased water and oil pumps; Dzerzhinsk-based experimental mechanical plant – samples of metal molds and metalworks; Rudensk company – lanterns and fog lights. The stand of Belarus' oil industry concern Belneftekhim presented protective wax and hydraulic oils, petrol for any types of engines of Mozyr Oil Refinery, and mobile units for drilling and overhaul of shafts of Seismotekhnika company. The Belarusian exposition also featured three institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. They demonstrated more than 100 solutions, including electronic ceramics, jewelery inserts from synthetic emeralds, protective coatings, and workpieces for medical implants.

The Made in Belarus exposition was organized by the Belinterexpo exhibition company at the BelCCI with support of the Belarusian Embassy in Czechia. The fair also included the Belarus Business Day forum, organized by Belinterexpo and the Minsk Office of the BelCCI.

The MSV International Engineering Fair has been held in Brno annually since 1958. It has been recognized as one of Europe's top mechanical engineering expos and a major event for the entire manufacturing sector of Eastern and Central Europe. This year's expo brought together over 1700 enterprises from 60 countries. It featured national stands of Germany, India, Italy, China, South Korea, and Russia.
