MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) - An assembly plant for BELARUS tractors will be established in Myanmar, BelTA learned from the press service of MTZ.
Sales outlets and service support will also be established. A corresponding agreement was signed as part of the Belarus-Myanmar business forum. Furthermore, a contract was signed for the supply of 400 tractor units of the BELARUS 451, 522, and 820 models.
A working meeting also took place between Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov and Myanmar's Union Minister of Industry Charlie Than, which was attended by MTZ Marketing Director Andrei Matalytsky.
The parties discussed prospects for developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Belarus-Myanmar business forum was held in Yangon on 27 November. The Belarusian delegation featured over 40 people, including representatives of government bodies and businesses. They discussed opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation.
