MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Tajikistan Viktor Denisenko met with Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan Sulton Rahimzoda on 18 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral investment cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan, including future steps to develop mutually beneficial cooperation. The parties also exchanged views on further interaction in preparation for the Dushanbe Invest 2025 international forum and attracting the public and private sectors of the two countries to the event.
Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Tajikistan were established on 5 September 1996. Embassies are open in both countries. Cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan is maintained at the level of strategic partnership.
