MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) - The Industry Ministries of Belarus and Russia discussed cooperation in key industrial sectors at a joint meeting in Moscow, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry of Belarus.
One of the central topics was the status of the roadmap in the machine tool industry, which aims to strengthen production capacities and enhance the operational efficiency of enterprises. The participants emphasized the importance of joint efforts to achieve a synergistic effect, enabling both countries to secure more stable positions in the international market.
Key aspects of cooperation in the automotive and agricultural machinery sectors were also discussed. Collaborative efforts in these areas not only strengthen economic ties but also enhance the competitiveness of the machinery produced. Specifically, the meeting discussed the measures to implement import-substituting investment projects that are crucial for ensuring technological independence and sustainable industrial development of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
