Belarus raises export duties on oil, oil products

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Belarus plans to raise export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in line with the Council of Ministers' resolution No.111 of 25 February 2021, BelTA learned from the national internet portal.

Under the document the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils will be $49.6 per tonne ($43.8 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline has been set at $27.2 per tonne ($24 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates , benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants will make up $14.8 per tonne (up from $13.1).

The Council of Ministers' resolution comes into force on 1 March 2021.
