Belarus increases oil transit rates by 7.4%

MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – The rates on oil transit via the pipelines of Gomeltransneft Druzhba through the territory of Belarus rose by 7.4% on 1 February. The decision to increase oil transit rates was formalized by Decree No. 7 passed by the Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry on 19 January 2022, BelTA learned from the press service of the Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry.

In addition, this document provides for an increase in rates for oil transportation within the country in the amount not exceeding the projected industrial producer price index in Belarus for 2022.

The document came into force on 1 February 2022.
