ALGIERS, 1 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian company Amkodor intends to launch joint production in Algeria, Deputy Director of Amkodor’s Marketing Center Aleksei Zhdanok told reporters on the sidelines of a business forum in Algeria, BelTA reports.
“The Algerian side is interested in buying grain drying complexes. Currently, the Amkodor holding company can offer advanced and modern grain storage solutions. Three weeks ago, our delegation already visited Algeria. Certain agreements were reached with the Algerian side regarding joint production of this equipment. Equipment deliveries to Algeria are planned to begin as early as 2026,” the company representative said.
Aleksei Zhdanok noted that this type of cooperation is more promising in the long-term.
At the same time, supplies of the company’s core product, which is road construction equipment, are also under discussion.
