MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) - Belarus' investment plans for 2026 include the implementation of over 600 projects totaling Br10 billion, BelTa learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
“Investing in the real sector is a crucial condition for enhancing the competitiveness of the regions and the economy in general. For 2026, we expect a significant contribution to regional development from the continued implementation of import-substitution projects and the One District-One Project initiative. By the end of 2026, the completion of 50 projects is planned, which will create 1,500 new jobs,” the Economy Ministry said.
The Regional Initiative is also gaining momentum: it provides for the implementation of about 120 projects worth Br1.7 billion, 50 of which will be completed by the end of 2026.
Overall, the completion of 230 commercial projects and the creation of approximately 2,700 jobs are planned for 2026.
