MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – The international exhibition Belagro 2022 is a good opportunity to discuss cooperation with the Russian Federation amid current sanctions, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Belagro Organizing Committee Leonid Zayats said during a meeting of the organizing committee on 16 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
“Interest in the exhibition, which has become one of Belarus' most recognizable brands, is high not only among employees of our agro-industrial complex and our citizens, but also in other countries, especially in the Russian Federation. The exhibition is a good opportunity to discuss all the issues related to further cooperation of economic complexes of the two countries amid the unprecedented sanctions pressure. The recent visits of delegations from Russian regions, the visit of the Belarusian head of state to the Far East, and the agreements reached during them give us confidence that together we will be able to produce more than one product that will be in demand in the markets of third countries,” said Leonid Zayats.
The organizing committee discussed the placement of exhibitors, trade and catering facilities, fire safety, law enforcement, road traffic in the area of the event and a number of other issues.
