
MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) - The nominal gross average salary in Belarus amounted to Br2,772.4 in July 2025, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
The highest average salary was in Minsk (Br3,686.5). It was followed by Minsk Oblast (Br2,809.7), Gomel Oblast (Br2,462.3), Grodno Oblast (Br2,477.3), Brest Oblast (Br2,445.2), Vitebsk Oblast (Br2,335.7) and Mogilev Oblast (Br2,330).
The breakdown by the types of economic activity suggests that the highest salaries were paid in the information and communications sector (Br5,866.1), finances and insurance (Br4,344.1), construction (3,496.3), science and engineering (Br3,375.4), industry (Br2,909.4) and transportation, warehousing, postal and courier services (Br2,655.6)
