MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – Thailand's Honorary Consulate in Belarus began accepting visa application documents on a daily basis, BelTA has learned.
According to the Honorary Consulate, there are not many tourists in summer due to the rain season. Travel arrivals start increasing from November. The decision has been taken to accept visa documents from Belarusian citizens on a daily basis (earlier it was done twice a week). In Minsk the documents are accepted and checked, then sent to the Thai Embassy in Moscow.
It will take two calendar weeks to get a passport with the Thai visa in Minsk.
In Thailand the beach season begins in November when the rain season ends.
