MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) - Minsk tops the ranking of the most popular destinations for Russian travelers during the May break. The data was provided by the internet hotel booking service RoomGuru.ru, BelTA has learned.
Prague, Barcelona, Baku, Vienna, Tbilisi, Budapest, Yerevan, Tallinn and Riga are also in top ten. Russians are expected to spend three nights and pay on average RUB3,500 per day for accommodation in the Belarusian capital.
Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad and Nizhny Novgorod are the top five domestic tourism destinations for Russians.
The ranking was compiled based on the number of hotel reservations for the period from 29 April to 10 May 2017. Russians are expected to spend three nights and pay on average RUB3,500 per day for accommodation in the Belarusian capital.
