MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian Union of Journalists calls on the Ukrainian authorities to make the probe into the death of Belarus-born journalist Pavel Sheremet a top priority, reads a statement issued by the Belarusian Union of Journalists, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian Union of Journalists expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Pavel Sheremet. “We also express our solidarity with the journalist community of Ukraine and are ready to provide full support in the matter of protection of the right to freedom of expression,” reads the statement.
