MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Indonesia President Joko Widodo as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“This holiday is a symbol of national pride and unity and the Indonesian people,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state reaffirmed Belarus' interest in expanding relations with Indonesia on the principles of friendship, trust, mutual benefits. Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that by joint efforts it will be possible to advance the Belarusian-Indonesian cooperation to a brand-new level.
