MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Emmerson Mnangagwa on the victory of the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front in the general election and his election to the post of President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state expressed confidence that the changes which are taking place in Zimbabwe under the leadership of Emmerson Mnangagwa will contribute to the prosperity of the country and the quality of life of people.
“I look forward to further development of Belarusian-Zimbabwean cooperation based on the principles of trust and support,” the message reads.
