Poland is Grodno Oblast's second biggest foreign economic partner

GRODNO, 18 December (BelTA) – Poland is Grodno Oblast's second biggest foreign economic partner, Grodno Oblast Vice Governor Vladimir Deshko said at the 3rd meeting of Belarusian and Polish twin-towns in Grodno on 18 December, BelTA informs.

Grodno Oblast has been developing its ties with regions of many countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Lithuania, China. Poland is a priority country in the development of twin-town and interregional relations of Grodno Oblast. There are 75 organizations with the participation of the Polish capital in the oblast. Grodno Oblast has been developing cooperation with 20 regions of Poland. The parties exchange visits, develop economic and investment cooperation and establish cultural exchanges.

Vladimir Deshko noted that Belarusian-Polish projects are also implemented as part of the international technical assistance programs.
