MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine has voiced a protest to the violent actions that took place near its diplomatic mission in Kiev, BelTA learned from the website of the embassy.
According to the diplomatic mission, on 23 September a group of unidentified persons staged an anti-Belarusian campaign in front of the Belarusian embassy.
Taking into account the fact that the persons hid their faces, behaved aggressively and used flares, the Belarusian embassy in Ukraine expressed a protest to the Ukrainian side and demanded to hold the corresponding inquiry and ensure the security of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in line with Article 22 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961.
