MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – A delegation of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Deputy Minister Valentin Rybakov is visiting Malaysia from 19 to 22 October, spokesman for the ministry Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 20 October, BelTA has learned.
The delegation will hold talks with Muhammad Shahrul Ikram, Deputy Secretary-General (Deputy Minister) in charge of bilateral affairs of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Sri Reezal Merican, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. “The parties will discuss a range of current issues of the bilateral relations, including ways to intensify the exchange of visits of delegations of different levels, expand the cooperation in trade and economy, further develop the legal framework, and boost the cooperation in regional and international organizations,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
Besides, the Belarusian delegation will also attend meetings at the Malaysian Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, Ministry of International Trade and Industry, and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia.
