WTA rankings: Sabalenka holds lead, Azarenka moves two spots down

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus lost early in Doha and Dubai but remains clear at the top of the WTA rankings at 9,076 points, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian goes 1,091 points ahead of the second-ranked Iga Swiatek of Poland. 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva of Russia, a winner of the recent event in Dubai, rose to her career-best No.9. Belarus’ Victoria Azarenka lost two spots to place 34th. Aliaksandra Sasnovich went up one position to 113th.
