MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) - Ilya Shymanovich of Belarus has won the 100m breaststroke at the 28th Speedo Invitational Short Course Meet 2025 in Dubai, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.
In the 100m breaststroke event, the leader of our national team clocked the best time of 55.51 seconds. Last week, at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Lublin, Poland, Dutch swimmer Caspar Corbeau won with a time of 55.85 seconds. At the Strongest Athletes Swimming Cup in Minsk in November, Ilya Shimanovich took second place (55.92), while Russia’s Kirill Prigoda finished first (55.71).
