MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka has reached her career high 11th position in the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.
Ahead of the China Open the Belarusian was ranked 16th and moved up five spots after reachin the quarterfinal in Beijing. This week Aryna Sabalenka will take part in the 2018 Tianjin Open.
Belarus' Aliaksandra Sasnovich goes 31st in the WTA, Victoria Azarenka – 55th, Vera Lapko – 62nd.
The WTA Top Five comprises Simona Halep of Romania, Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki, Angelique Kerber of Germany, Japan's Naomi Osaka and Ukraine's Elina Svitolina.
