MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – Eight Belarusians are competing in a neutral status at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris, BelTA has learned.
Belarusian athletes are competing in two sports: swimming and athletics. 16-time Paralympic champion Ihar Boki of Belarus clocked the best time of 54.93 among 14 athletes to make the Men’s 100m Butterfly – S13 final.
Ihar Boki is a world record holder – 53.72 seconds in the men’s 100m butterfly discipline. The Belarusian won the event in the three previous Paralympics.
