MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – Belarus’ Evialina Laskevich moved to the ITF United Arab Emirates round of Last 16, defeating Ekaterina Yashina of Russia, 7-6 (8-6), 6-0, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian will next face Sofia Costoulas of Belgium. Evialina Laskevich saw off Poland’s Marcelina Podlinska and beat Kazakhstan’s Zhibek Kulambayeva to reach the main draw.
Belarus’ Yuliya Hatouka defeated YeXin Ma of China, 6-1, 7-5. She will take on Alexandra Eala in the round of Last 16. In the round of Last 32 Belarus’ Alena Falei will play Jodie Burrage of the UK.
In the Mundotenis Open second round Belarus’ Iryna Shymanovich will face either Panna Udvardy of Hungary or Ylena In-Albon of Switzerland.
The events in Brazil and the UAE will be over on 8 December.
