HC Dinamo Minsk thrash HC Dynamo Moscow 7-1 on home ice

MINSK, 24 December (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk have claimed a big win in the second match of their final home series in 2025 in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), BelTA has learned.

The first clash of the season between HC Dinamo Minsk and HC Dynamo Moscow took place on 23 December. Dmitri Kvartalnov’s team grabbed the lead a mere 100 seconds into the game. The accurate shot came from Ilya Usov, playing in his 200th KHL match. The Minsk Bisons struck again just three minutes later to double the lead, with Vitaly Pinchuk finishing off a play set up by Alex Limoge and Sam Anas.
Early in the second period, Belarusian-U.S. duo of HC Dinamo Minsk switched roles, with Pinchuk turning provider and Anas finding the net. Anas now ranks second in the KHL scoring race with 19 goals, just ahead of Pinchuk’s 18. The home team struck again immediately, making it 4-0 courtesy of Yegor Borikov. The sides then traded goals before the second break, with Daniil Lipsky getting on the scoresheet for Minsk.
Early in the third, Vadim Shipachyov made it a rout, and Alex Limoge sealed the 7-1 victory with a late goal. The win extends the Minsk Bisons’ point streak to nine games, keeping them second in the Western Conference, just one point behind HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. HC Dinamo Minsk home series will continue with a match against HC SKA Saint Petersburg on 26 December.
