Shortly before the period ended, HC Sochi finally beat the Minsk Bisons’ goaltender Zack Fucale. In the third period, Alex Limoges converted on a power play off a feed from Sam Anas, extending both Americans’ point streaks to eight games.

Borikov added his second goal soon after, and the home team scored again shortly before the final buzzer. The game ended 7-2 for HC Dinamo Minsk. Dmitri Kvartalnov’s team returned to second place in the Western Conference, trailing the leading HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl by five points.
