MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 113 Egor Gerasimov has reached the main draw of the Adelaide International 1 beating Moldova's world number 123 Radu Albot, 6-3, 0-6, 6-2, BelTA has learned.
In the first qualifying match Egor Gerasimov needed 45 minutes to see off 17-year-old Australian Henry Lamchinniah, 6-0, 6-1.
In the Adelaide International round of Last 32 Belarus' world number 27 Victoria Azarenka will face Spain's world number 8 Paula Badosa. World number 2 Aryna Sabalenka will kick off her run in the round of Last 16. She will face either France's world number 119 Chloe Paquet or world number 100 Kaja Juvan of Slovenia.
