FEI allows Belarusians to compete in team events under neutral flag

MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) has allowed Belarusian and Russian athletes to participate in team competitions, BelTA learned from the FEI press service.

This decision was made during the FEI General Assembly and will be effective as of 1 January 2026. Belarusian and Russian athletes had been suspended from FEI tournaments from 2022 through 2024. At the beginning of 2024, the federation started issuing neutral status to competitors, but only for individual events.
