
MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk secured a 3-2 win over visiting HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl to extend its winning streak in the 2025/26 KHL regular season on 29 September, BelTA has learned.
In their fourth home game of the season, Dmitry Kvartalnov's team hosted the current Gagarin Cup holder, HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, who arrived in Minsk with a five-game winning streak.



Dinamo looked sharper in the opening period, with Sam Anas and Daniil Sotishvili both hitting the goal frame, but the teams went to the first intermission with the scoreboard untouched. Yaroslavl opened the scoring early in the second period, but the hosts did not trail for long. Vitaly Pinchuk set up a pass for Sam Anas, who fired the puck into the unguarded net. Ten minutes later, Minsk took the lead: on a power play, Vadim Moroz deflected Ty Smith's shot, scoring his first goal of the season. During the period, the Bisons also successfully killed off two penalties.



At the start of the final stanza, Lokomotiv tied the game at 2-2. The teams played out the remaining time without further goals, sending the match into overtime. No winner was decided in the extra frame, and Dinamo players proved more successful in the shootout, with Vitaly Pinchuk converting the decisive attempt.



With this victory, Dinamo Minsk extends its winning streak to four games and solidifies its hold on third place in the Western Conference, now trailing Lokomotiv by just two points. The Bisons will play their next home game against Severstal on 1 October.
