MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) - Belarusian Volha Nemahai became the winner of Quzhou Marathon in Quzhou, China, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Athletics Federation.
Volha Nemahai clocked 2 hours 41 minutes 48 seconds to win the marathon, which is part of the World Athletics Label Road Races calendar. She was more than two and a half minutes ahead of Leah Jeruto from Kenya who came in second.
For Volha Nemahai, the marathon distance of 42.195km was the second one in her career. In this discipline the Belarusian made her debut at the Kazan Marathon in May.
