Trump: Maduro and his wife were captured and flown out of Venezuela

MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife have been detained and flown out of the country. 

According to a report by CBS, the operation to capture Nicolás Maduro and his wife was carried out by Delta Force, an elite U.S. special forces unit.

Donald Trump plans to hold a special press conference today regarding the operation in Venezuela, which is scheduled for 7:00 PM Minsk time.
