MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich (World No. 92) reached the quarterfinal of the L'Open 35 de Saint-Malo, France, BelTA has learned.
On 6 May the Belarusian defeated Slovenian Tamara Zidansek (80) 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 in the round of 16. The match lasted 1 hour and 42 minutes. Aliaksandra Sasnovich will face Swiss Viktorija Golubic (84) in the quarterfinal. In the first round Aliaksandra Sasnovich beat France's Tessah Andrianjafitrimo (257) 7-5, 0-6, 7-5.
Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus (No.7) will take on Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (41) in the semifinals of Mutua Madrid Open.
