NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won four medals at the European Taekwondo Junior Championship 2021 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, BelTA has learned.
Maksim Bandarevich claimed silver in the 59kg event.
The Belarusian team also won three bronze medals: Kiryl Dudarau (68kg), Vital Lazuta (63kg), and Valeryia Smychkova (52kg).
Belarus finished 13th in the medal standings. The top three were Russia (9 medals: 7-1-1), Croatia (5: 3-0-2), and Turkey (8: 2-2-4).
Competing were athletes aged 15-17 from 46 countries.
