FEZ Minsk welcomes seven new residents with $13m investments in 2025

MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – In 2025, the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Minsk welcomed seven new residents with a total investment volume of $13 million, BelTA learned from the FEZ administration.

These are companies engaged in the production of complete administrative, utility, and residential modules; electric trucks and components; household chemicals; paper packaging materials using gravure printing technology; as well as sandwich panels.

Foreign direct investment reached $212 million, of which net FDI amounted to $185 million. Investments came from more than 15 countries, with Russia, China, the UAE, Cyprus, and Switzerland among the main sources.

Capital investment increased 1.2 times to Br650 million. Tax revenues from FEZ residents grew by 11.3% to about Br1.4 billion.

The total output of FEZ residents exceeded Br11 billion for the year. Enterprises closed 2025 with positive dynamics, posting net profits of Br1.2 billion. More than 600 jobs were created in 2025, while employee wages rose by 11.4% to Br3,540.

In addition, the FEZ Minsk is actively developing engineering and transport infrastructure for new and existing residents, particularly in Fanipol.

“The FEZ Minsk remains an attractive zone for large-scale investment projects,” emphasized Anatoly Kalinin, Head of the FEZ Minsk administration. “In the suburban Zapad territory, more than 3 km of road network, a distribution substation, and a high-pressure gas pipeline have already been built. We are offering residents more than 20 free land plots of 2=4 hectares. Over the next five years, two more streets, another distribution substation, and treatment facilities will be constructed here.”

Currently, more than 1,850 people work at resident enterprises on the Zapad industrial site in Fanipol. According to the development plan, once new facilities are completed, more than 5,000 jobs are expected to be created in this area.
