Belarus to compete in 2025 FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships

MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) - Belarusian athletes are participating in the 2025 FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships which have kicked off in Pamplona, Spain, BelTA has learned.

Nearly 400 athletes from 40 countries have registered for the season's major event. The Belarusian men's team in Spain will be represented by two-time Olympic champion and current World Cup holder Ivan Litvinovich, alongside Andrei Builou, Stanislau Yaskevich, and Sebastian Stankevich. The women's team includes Katsiaryna Yarshova, Zlata Miniakhmetava, Iana Lebedeva (winner at the 3rd CIS Games), and Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya, a medalist at the 2024 Paris Games. Dzmitry Navasiolau, Daniil Saikou, Viktar Antsipenka, and Mikita Bogush will take part in the tumbling competitions.

Athletes will compete in 16 medal events. The Belarusian trampolinists will compete in individual, synchronized, and mixed synchronized events, with the latter making its debut in the World Championships program. They will be vying for podium finishes alongside top contenders such as China's titled representatives Wang Zisai and Yan Langyu, Paris Olympic champion Bryony Page of the UK, and Canada's Sophiane Methot.

The competition program begins on 5 November, with Belarusian athletes participating in the qualification round for the mixed synchronized event. On 6 November, the trampolinists will compete in the individual qualification. The first world champions and medalists will be determined on Friday. The event in Spain will continue through 9 November.
